What race weight am I looking at? More help reducing please.
Here's a list of what my car will have as far as weight reduction. I'm curious as to see what kind of weight I'm looking at.
It's a 94 TA M6 with the high spoiler and has 3 point UMI SFC's and a 10 bolt, power everthing.
Weight reduction:
25lb VFN fiberglass hood
UMI K member
Rear seats and passenger seat removed when racing
Spare tire and jack taken out
No AC or condensor
Half a tank of gas
3 inch TD's with no muffler's and dumps right after the x pipe
15x3.5 inch welds with whatever size tire is standard for skinnies
15x8 inch welds with 275/50/15's MT drag radials
If you guys have anything else that's an easy way to drop some weight without making the car look like a tin can please help me out. Don't have to factor the weight with me in it.
Thanks a bunch guys I don't know what all this stuff weighs or even what the car is supposed to weigh stock. I know it's somewhere in the 3600-3800 lb range.

You gotta weigh the car 1st, with iron block LT1, it does put you a little heavier then the average LSX equvilent car, maybe a little more so since its a heavy *** aluminum doghouse intake. Also weigh yourself accurately, or whom ever will be driving the car.
I did weigh my my 94 Z28, hard top, 4L60e, 10 bolt car
Deleted:
Spare/Jack
A/C and hard lines, compressor
Rear Seats and seat belts
it was just about 3450 weight w/o me in it.

I will weigh the car when it's done and ready but I won't be able to tell what the car actually weighs becuase I don't have a starting point. I don't know what the car was supposed to weigh exactly from the factory. That being said I can add up lbs lost but still won't know what the car weighs until I can get it to a scale. I was just trying to get an idea of what I'm looking at. Do you know how much a stock TA with cloth seats is supposed to weigh? That way I can start doing the math. Thanks.

Weight reduction sticky has weights on abotu every part in these cars.
I'd work off that to try to get the big items you can.. at some point you're gonna have to put it on a scale to get a real weight.
I'm gonna guess, that with the lt motor you're probably looking at about 3450 to 3500 without driver, give or take as it sits now.

I guess all I can do now is calculate how much weight will be taken out. One of the weight reduction posts says the stock catback weighs 50 lbs and the stock Y pipe and cat with the hanger weighs 24 lbs. The LPP longtubes I have are slightly heavier than the stock cast iron manifolds. When I race I think I'll just run with turndowns right off the collectors. That's about 75lbs cut off right there. I started a chart to see how much weight I can subtract. I'm hoping I can cut 200 or so out. That will compensate for my weight...which is also 200 lbs.
