Default Whats above the oil filter

Above my oil filter is this little I am guessing hole for something. I am not sure what it is for or if it needs to be plugged up. Thanks

um if you dont know what it is i would no go plugging it up and there is no whole that need to be plugged up man.

It is a block off plate on the F cars, the Vettes have an oil temp sensor threaded into the top of it

Behind that little manifold are two oil gallery holes that can be used for an oil cooler. Lingenfelter has a cnc machined block available to install a cooler.
