Default Plug wires hitting headers?

I just put on my pacesetter LT's on my 00 with AIR/EGR and the number 2 plug on the passenger side is laying right on the AIR tube on the header...and on the driver number two the boot is hitting the primary I wrapped them in heat wrap to protect them with no problems but is there any wires that will clear them?

Take all that heat wrap stuff off. Try to spin the spark plug wires where they attach to the coil. Usually you can spin them there and the wires will lift off the headers and stay off them.

And what is an AIR tube on a header? I thought the AIR stuff gets taken out when you go with LT's?

Ill try that I still have stock style wires.

You can get headers with AIR/EGR so it the tube that comes of the headers and connects into the AIR system.

Ah-ha, I didn;t know that.

Zip ties might be in your future. I'd do that instead of heat wrap.

I have a few wires that are too close to the headers, picked up a set of these:

Thats what I have as well.

About half my wires rest on my headers, the kevlar wire protectors keep them getting cooked though.
