For those who wondered what EL-Torro would do with heads..
First,
Let me say I don't have the El-Torro cam. My cam was the "forerunner" of El-torro spec'd by Predator Z awhile back. I wanted something would be smaller than most cams people were running, and with a lot of Tq.
It's a reverse split at 230/228 .612/.588 110-1 that was designed for a cam only car. Well like everyone else, after the cam I wanted more. So I added heads and a Fast 90 setup knowing that I might have to change the cam later to get the full result for the heads.
The heads were Cartek 4x that had been milled to a 59cc chamber. So I did have to flycut my pistons. But after my results, I don't think I will be changing the cam. This setup pulls all the way to the rev limiter, and even looked like it would keep pulling past that if we would have let it.
On to the results..
Here were the cam only results with a LS6 and full bolt-ons.
After Cartek 4x Heads and a Fast 90 setup.

Nice,
Not bad for an unconventional cam, Over 350 lbs at 6800 rpm and 340 lbs at 2600 rpm
I think I'm gonna smoke a cigar
rmtt, I want to thank you for proving that thinking outside the box works and for having faith.
You make almost the exact numbers than my 12:1, 224/222 cammed 370 cid.
Good job, I have to say, this setup is

Thanks!! I had faith in you.
Look at the jump in Tq between just 3K and 3.5K. It's amazing. And the car drives smooth as silk. It pulls from the moment you step into it until you hit the rev limiter..and the wild thing is that the setup kept carrying with no drop off. I'm not sure how much more it would have went, but I didn't want to spin it any higher. I have head studs, but that's it.

The El Toro and derivatives are custom grinds on Comp Cam lobes.
I give you the specs and any Comp cam vendor can get it ground.
PM me and we can discuss (I do not charge anything).

The heads are 59cc
I used a stock thickness head gasket
Pistons were cut .050
Cam is listed above.
I do have 93 octane in my area.
