G5X2 with Victor Jr.
I've heard that the victor jr likes a cam with a tighter LSA and higher lifts. I've got a G5X2 232/240 .595''/.609'' on a 112 or 114 (unsure, it was in the motor when i bought it off these boards and the seller won't return PM's and haven't pulled it to check). I'll be using a 4150 style TB and don't use the car everyday...NOT A DAILY. And it's a 346
Would it be better to go with a higher lift lower LSA cam to match the Vic? Would an MS4 work well?
BTW, I use the search feature religiously. 61 posts, 3 years here.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't know whether it'd be better to put it in internal or external.
Thanks, Russ

im running a 228/232 .605/.607 111+2 with a vic jr and a 4150... you wil be fine! there is always somone to point out that a FAST intake will add a million horsepower or that the cam you have is all wrong...
what usually kills a vic jr is the elbow that people put on... and be sure to port-match it, the ports are not really well aligned but i think you are within 5-10 hp of what that cam will do with another intake (below in the lower rpms, propably above in the high)... if you are goung to tear into it and change cam.. get a custom one to suit your engine, stall, intake weight, use etc....
but why not run it now and enjoy the car, sort the car out and change the cam when the weather turns cold again??
