Default Any one teach conceal classes?

i currently have my license to carry but was looking at becoming an instructor. as of late, well atleast in my area, there is a demand for instructors. it seems like it would be a good opportunity for some extra cash on the side and seems like it would be fun to teach the class.

so if there is anyone out there that does this please reply. thanks!

oh trust me i will offer a discount on the class for those who are LS1Tech members. i belong to a private gun range where i can hold the shooting portion of the class any given day. as far as the paperwork and instructing a place is on the works to be setup.

but i will have info posted as soon as possible!

I'm interested also. Thinking of taking it real soon though, so by the time you get ready, I may have already taken it.

i can tell you this much for those who are interested. the class is very easy. i plan on doing the instructing and shooting in a single day class. most offer a 2 day course which one day is strictly class work while the next is your firing test. i highly recommend if you plan on taking a class that you test with a semi auto. the reason being is that if you test with a revolver you can only conceal carry a revolver as your weapon. when you test with the semi auto you have the option of either weapon.

when i had taken my class it was from 9am to about 5:30pm. most of the time you were in class learning your right to carry and where. the last hour or so you were taken to the range for your skills test.

i do plan on making the class fun because a lot of people have a hard time with sitting there for a few hours to learn the laws and take the paper exam. but i will keep everyone posted on the process of getting my license.

Just keep in mind, I think the class is required to be a certain length, so advertising it to be faster could help you lose your license.

its not that im tryin to make the class faster... just more convinent. i do realize the class must be a certain length. i did the one day class. the time was just an example of what it might look like.

thanks! i totally agree that we should have more people arming themselves for protection. you never know that one time you're out with the family and some unwanted disturbance takes place where you need to protect your loved ones. i got mine after i saw the incident that took place at our local luby's a few years back where a guy came in and killed several people. this was in broad daylight as well

i'll will do my best on updates for the classes. when i get home from work tonight i'll see when they're offering the trainers course, and from there i'll have an idea of when i will begin the classes. from just what i read earlier today its offered during the summer sometime around august... but i'm not too sure yet.
