Speed inc's twin set up up top i think is the closest you're gonna get to "top mounted".
theres barely enough room to change our spark plugs let alone install 2 snails like that, which sucks, but i guess we work with what we have.

Found it on 417motorsports web site.
But those are front mount. KY turbo is doing the same with truck manifolds.
I am referring to top mount. Something sticking out of the hood, partially.

Bumping for some new interest.
I have been giving thought to having a kit made and one thing that makes them so damn expensive is that most people want everything under the hood and hidden, that is a lot of R & D! But what if you don't give a **** about having them hidden (as I do)!? Not only will it cut down on the R & D $$$ of how the hell you're going to run everything and in the same sentence, keep everything from melting all to hell, but it will make for a quicker change out for turbos, cooler - cleaner - denser air to the turbos, cooler engine bay and ability to remove your plugs without going through the *** raping a tight fitting kit would offer.
I am talking to a buddy of mine that builds turbo kits for the DSM/JDM world, and I showed him the SICK setup of the 417 Bird. I like it a lot and am thinking about following that direction, but if there was a Top Mount kit as posted above, that would be the ****!
I know that I would not mind having a nice set of **** ripping through my hood

i remember seeing a guy on youtube in a conversion forever ago use inverted CTSV manifolds since the outlet comes close to the valve covers. I'm interested in this setup as well in my 911.

If you think that is sick, find the 417 T/A! Mmmmm.... It is better than *Just Barely Legal* sex!
I, like Jesus, am very giving, I just don't make you kiss my *** till the day you die; don't ever say I never did anything for you
