I used the machine shop recommended by Race Proven (Frans96ss), and have made over 700 RWHP on pump gas in my daily driver.

I will gladly use them again.

just looked at Race Proven's website...i never even knew they existed but thats exactly what i'm looking for!

nothing too major: factory block, stock crank, forged pistons and rods, ls6 heads, ls2 intake, lingenfelter gt7 cam, yella terra rockers, ls2 timing set, ls6 oil pump...bunch of other misc. stuff

fwiw, having an engine dyno would be a big plus.

They have an engine dyno but its hard to hook up EFI cars on the engine dyno. We have a chassis dyno in house. Give me a call or email and we can discuss your setup.

Shawn @ Virginia Speed gets my vote. He can build all engines from Mild to wild, has 2 engine dynos, full machine shop, anything you need to do is all done in house. They have a CNC, 1 endurance style dyno room where engines can run for hours, 1 tuning dyno room, and a chassis dyno(dynojet) with all of the major softwares.. Once you go to the shop you'll understand why I drive 4 hours and Brian drives 6.
