Default Ideas for my Wastegate location?? with pics...

I'm having trouble placing this wastegate due to space constraints....I need some thoughts, I know some of these are not great, but will they still function okay? Car is mainly a drag car if that helps...

First, I know this is the worst, but this is by far the best type of idea using the room available to me in the car....how horrible could it be?....really?

Next is how I actually had it tacked in, now I know this is the best placement (not the best positioning but it has no other room) but this makes the WG hang lower than anything else on the car by about 1/2". If this comes down from a wheelie or hits something in the road, WG go bye bye...

This is another option but how poorly does this make the WG work? This would allow me to get it out where its away from some heat and WAY easier to get to for any WG work....

The gate should face the exhaust flow for optimum control of boost settings.

The only problem with this is the flow effecting it. I had problems with relief valves on high pressure piping going off to soon because they were like you describe...in the flow of the gas. The actual flow/force will create false pressure readings (higher on the wastegate) and the control wont be any different, the accuracy of the measurements will be effected. I would think having it at a 90* angle would work perfect, and just have it close to the turbo flange.

But then again after i think about it, there is no pressure referenced from the exhaust side so it probably wouldnt matter.
