Car Show Tips??? Anybody got any tips on little things you can do to make your car look better/stand out at a car show? I'm entering one with a friend of mine Saturday and just thought I could get some ideas from people here who have show experience.
BTW, it's an indoor show so that should be pretty sweet.

clean, clean, clean... every nook and cranny. Don't clutter your display area up with stuff. It takes away from the car and makes it harder for the judges to look over your car. At most indoor shows they judge undercarriage, so clean it really good. A piece of mirror or mirror plex would be a nice touch under the car for viewing the undercarriage.
Hubby and I toured ISCA for 3 years with his 88 Z. We retired the car from showing in 97 finishing as International Class Champion, 3rd best International Custom and Sportsman of the Year. Here's how we showed the car the first year 1994-95 season

cool, yea ive seen it last time i went to the autorama when i was like 11 or 12, now im nearly 18, so its been a while, but I remember it.

wow that's all the same car? I'm impressed. I can't imagine how much hassle it was to convert to t-tops then vert...did you buy donor cars for the many body parts you needed? Do you guys own an autobody shop? Did your hubby do all the work? What a huge project. Very impressive, hardtop to t's to vert...wow. The different interiors too...hard to believe all the same car same owner.

the car actually began life in 1988 as a hardtop car, hubby made it a t-top car a few years later. We bought 2 wrecked verts for the conversion. We do own a body shop and husband has done all the work on the car himself. We did have a sheetmetal guy do the firewall work.
