I would get 1" 7/8th Kook's LT's with Kook's 3" off road y-pipe, and a 3" electrical cutout and keep the stock muffler IMO. The reason why the 1" 7/8th is you might need them later down the road.

A good budget but quality setup I could recommend is
Pacesetter Coated Long Tube headers and O/R y-pipe package is usually around $600
If I had to pick a cat-back with good full throttle sound and a nice mellow cruizing tone without sacraficing too much buck, I would be pressed between the Hoker Aerochamber catback or the Magnaflow catback systems.
I think the Hooker system is around $400
Magnaflow is around $470

If you're trying to stay within budget, try looking at used headers and cat-backs. I got a set of used headers, a catted-y, and a lid for 290. Then I bought my hooker aerochamber muffler for like 85 and I'm having it welded in place of my chokemaster by a friend of mine. Oh yeah, don't overlook the motor mounts - old ones can cause the y-pipe to bang the floor sometimes.
