I've got a friend who is looking to rent a sports car for the weekend, to take his wife around and show her a fun time. Does anyone have any experience with this in the Houston or Austin area? He talked to the big chains and the only lead he has is a "Mustang class" car in Austin, which could be a Mustang or a Sebring.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ive always seen some down in the galleria, its just a little lot right next to westheimer i think, they usually have a vette,viper and a porsche sitting there. Its been a while and i dont know what theyre called, but its a start for a search.

edit: searched in google with this and hit like 6 of them "exotic rental in houston"

Make sure the first question asked is what is the mileage limit.

Avis and Hertz rent vette's. If he is looking for high end exotics, they are available but expensive. Ferrari 430 is $2500 a day.

One of the car rental co's (think it's Hertz) at IAH airport has about half a dozen C6 Z06's available.

I can't think of the name of it either, but yeah last time I was there they had a Ford GT sitting out front..

It was clean as hell.
