Default Sunoco Wide Hood (Pics)

VFN Sunoco, Wide, pin on, non extended hood, mounted with the Racecraft Dzus rails with pics.

Thanks VFN for making such an awsome hood!! This thing fit perfect! Even after it flew out of the back of my pickup truck (strap came loose) and a dumbass ran over it.

I'm mainly doing this for people doing a search for these things.

Thanks Guys! I used a air body saw to cut the lip off. Worked really, really well. It was easy to control and make the cut very close and low.

Racecraft makes rails for the front too. I can get some pics up tonight of the front and the rails on the bottom side.

If anyone is wanting to know anything about these Racecraft rails, studderin^^^ has an awesome write up going on.

Yes it did. I had just picked it up, and it was still in the box from VFN. It flew out of the bed of the truck. I just knew when I seen that dumbass run over it, that my high dollar hood was way gone! Pulled over and ran back to get it, and picked it up to see it was suprisingly nothing wrong with it. VFN packaging FTMFW!!

Your a local guy i see. Do you have a better side shot of how far the cowl over hangs? I'm probably going to sell my regular sunoco and get the wider version to give me more room for the victor jr/4150 throttle body/nitrous plate setup.

I did a post a few days ago for pictures with no luck, thank you.

You did a good job of mounting it. I am still thinking about this hood for my 93. I still want to see it on a 93-97.

The second to last pic I posted, has a good shot of the cowl overhang. If you need something better I could get another shot and PM it to you.

Cause you only went with the "Wide" version. I went with the Extended Version, to fully cover my 1,600 CFM Dominator TB.

Man, even your Tach is in the same spot!

Yea, since I don't need the extended to cover my big *** ProCharger, I went with the regular to keep my wipers. This one is still a street car.

Nice! I'm only 19, so I'm doing what I can with my college budget, but a Procharger setup would be ideal someday!

If you get some more pictures of yours up, that would be awesome, I still havn't got my Racecraft rails to mount it yet, but I need to get the lip trimmed off. Any pictures of the whole car? I think we're the only NBM cars on here with these hoods!

Holy **** that looks badass. Is that a 315 Radial? I've wanted to run a 30" tire for a while now, how hard were they to fit? I need some new pictures of my car, but heres a couple.

Damn your car is clean!! I love the pic with it in the driveway and lowered!!!

Thanks for the compliment. Yes that is the 315 radial. The car is mini tubed and a little trimming on the bumper cover and upper fender lip. Can't wait to get my new setup on. Midwest fab 9" with narrowed 3.50" Billet Specialties 15x12s in the rear with the 315s.
