Quarter mile times with 228r cam?
Alright so by next week my car should be finished...knock on wood. Anyways, after a tune, what would you guys say a good time to aim for is? This will be on mickey Thompson drag radials btw, I was hoping with a tune, cam only, I could get into low 12s with a cam only setup. I've never seen a 228r cammed car run at the track before, so im not sure how the mid range cams like this one do but ya..just curious

I didnt make it to the track this weekend like I planned. Once again it rained on Friday so that automatically closes the track the following day. I had a lot of work to do anyway so I probably wouldnt have made it. Wanted to go Sunday but had other things to do that were more important. I will run the car this weekend providing it doesnt rain.

The cam has less to do with 1/4 times than almost anything else. The entire setup of the car determines how fast it will get down the track, not a cam by itself.
I've seen 224 cams go 11.50's, and I've seen 240 duration cams go 12.20's. And vise versa. The setup of the vehicle will determine how well the cam performs.
