Concan is nice, not too crowded and nice scenery and no cops.
The Gaudalupe & the Comal always have some major partying going on. I remember going when half of Texas State (back then it was southwest texas) went, soo many tubes/rafts you couldnt see any water.

+1 gaudalupe can get CRAZY. had a killer time there. And i got to do some Decent rock climbing.

I'll be staying on the Comal Fri, Sat, Sun! 
For those of you wanting to float the Guadalupe, I don't think there's much water in there to float it because of the drought and Canyon Lake being so low. As of this morning, the Canyon dam release rate was 55 CFS, which is nothing more than a trickle. Best bet would be to hit the Comal, which stays at a constant level year round regardless of rainfall conditions.
