Default My Cage Install

Here are some pictures of my cage installation that is being done by Eric and the guys at Midwest Chassis.

I will post up some pictures of the finished results soon as they are almost done.

Then all I have to do is put the interior back in the car....

Here are some pictures after most of the interior has been installed. The carpet still needs to be finished and the back panels are not in yet.

Looking good, I am in the process of getting my cage installed now too, and I have a question for you, what is going on in these pics, did they weld the cage to the door jam and what is that disc type thing in the pics? It almost looks like something is missing or different somehow, I just can't put my finger on it...

hmm, nevermind my car has them too, but not attached to the cage, is that an optical illusion from your pics?

here are a few shots of whatever they are (I think it's where the bottom dash support mounts) from mine:

The discs are sun spots or reflections off the glass and the lens of the camera. Where the cage runs threw the dash/firewall metal it was cut for the tube and then the tube was welded the the metal in these sections.

those rear bars have a nice gap between the floor plates.
were they welded like that, or did you strap them down?

Thats just how it was siting in the car at that point... when the rear bars were in position and welded there was minimal gap
