Default PICS from Jannetty Racing DragDay @ LVD

Very nice day for a Rental- thanks to Jannetty for putting this together!

You could have gotten 20 passes *easy* and still had time for lunch.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Too bad there's no pic of the end of the track...

Just for fun, here's how that run went:

LT1 - 14.076 at 97.03 with a 2.0 60'

LS1 - 11.84 at 116.72 with a 1.6 60'

But he did get me off the line!

Man, you take some sick pictures.

They are ET Streets - 26 x 10.5 x 16. They get me 1.6 60's but I can't launch it like I want because they won't bite if I launch at 5000 or above. Gonna need some shocks first, then we'll see how they do. Real slicks and skinnies would help, also.

I'm gonna make a post about mine later if I don't fall asleep but basically I ran the same ETs, traps, and 60's as last time only it was 30 degrees hotter today than the last rental when I got my bests. I guess the cutout helped.

Yea I did a search and you do have a youtube vid on it. What really matters is the DA, heat is one thing but the heat will correlate with the DA and I would figure your (everyone) timeslips were between 1000-1300 DA. Vs in Oct it was in the 0-300 range.

Thhe 1st 60' should never be effected by weather unless they were not prepping. So that will be the focus of all of our cars. I am just collecting parts for now. Looking for a fall run.

Yeah, the owner of LVD specifically told me today that they left a little slip in the track because if they make it bite too hard then a lot of the cars that tend to show up will start breaking things. So the prep wasn't exactly top notch but I was still hitting 1.6s - 1.7s. Some shocks, better wheels/tires, and the front suspension should help me out quite a bit but it's not cheap as we all know so it may be a while.

Didn't stop those little Toyotas from breaking!

Good time today, everyone managed to get some decent numbers despite the heat.
