Try a can of Fluid Film for free!
As a new sponsor on LS1TECH.COM, we want to make as big a splash as possible, which is why we are offering a FREE 2 1/4 oz. sample can of Fluid Film to any member who hasn't tried it and lives in the US.
Fluid Film stops existing corrosion on contact and prevents rust on all metals. With no solvent content, Fluid Film will not evaporate, get gummy or tacky, or readily wash off a surface.
Fluid Film retains a slick, non-drying consistency that keeps hinges and locks lubricated for extended periods of time. It protects battery terminals for at least 12 months, brings back the luster to dull, faded paint jobs and keeps bugs from sticking to bumpers.
No kidding! Try it out for yourself. We even pay for shipping. Just PM me your contact info and you'll be good to go. This offer will not last forever, so take advantage of it now.

I got my free sample and sprayed the hinges on the doors of my house and shop. It stopped all the squeaking and leaves a nice deposit that does not run off the metal. I can see where this would be a very good product for coating cylinder walls and such when storing an engine. So far it gets a thumbs up from me.

So this is safe to use on painted, metal body panels? Because I've got a quarter-half dollar sized rust spot on the hood of my Caprice where the paint chipped off, and I'd love to stop it from getting any worse. I've got a bunch of surface rust on the bottom of the car (former cop car on Long Island) that I'd like to stop from rotting as well.
Let me know if you think your product would be able to help me, if so I'll definitely try a free sample bottle.
