Default Getting best mileage m6, cam

I drive a lot in a suburban area with torquer v3, full boltons, etc. For some reason I keep getting terrible gas mileage. I am averaging around 12. My tune is spot on with 14.7 +/- 2% and 12.8 wot.

Anyone have any ideas on the best way to drive for mileage?

yeah i only get 14 mph with my torquer 2 i think its just cause these cam's arent made to produce gas mileage and not to mention if you have a 160 t-stat dont help much

have your tuner adjust the DFCO settings to be a bit more aggressive. Also, if you have a scan tool, set up a calculated PID to monitor instantaneous MPG, this will help you train your right foot.

you gotta be easy on your right foot and i usually put it in a higher gear then it should be so instead of 2k rpm itll be at lik 1500. i still get shitty gas mileage though

Milage aside from driving is in the tune.

Your tuner needs to set a "lean tune" from idle to lets say 2,500 rpms and when the car is not WOT, but when WOT occurs the tune will command the proper A/F for racing/hard driving.

i hear ya on the easy with the foot thing i do that but most of the time i have to have it in 5th and i have 411's and a cam that makes no power below 3k so that would be a good reason we Torquer 2 cam cars get shitty gas mileage. my buddy has a 228r and he gets 20mpg.

another thing is my tune is basically **** so that doesn't help either
