reddish or purple coloring can be from additives in lower quality gasoline.

what type of gas do you use?

like most people i bounce to where ever is the cheapest and always 93. the fist time i put plugs in i thought it was due to octane booster. i had stopped using it a year prior to pulling the first set so i figured it was just left over. the second set shouldnt have seen any trace of octane booster so only thing i could figure was poor fuel quality. no one else ever talked about it tho and ive never seen that before on other engines so i wasnt sure what to think.

Premium fuel (as in octane rating) doesn't mean it is quality fuel.

Are you using 93 from Bob's Gas Shack or a decent place like Sunoco?

Usually thats from a octane booster or fuel injector cleaner of some sorts in most cases. Could be junk fuel or could be the devil trying to come through your spark plugs???

probably that seafoam stuff then.. stuff makes my car run great on that tank i added the stuff in lol. I was wondering if it was coolant cause it was alittle low. No idea what the last owner did to it so was kindof wtf when i saw the red on the plugs lol.
