Lightest is going to be racecraft spindles for spindle mount wheels and spindle mount brakes. Cheapist is leaving them stock lol. Check out Racecraft's site. They have all the weight info listed for the different spindle/brake options they sell. Or give Brian (Madman) a call and he can get you set up with what you need.

I set myself up for the spindle mounted rims to be added there I realy shoulda said and will retain the stock bolt pattern. So I can keep using my weld prostars.

Racecraft 3rd gen spindles and 3rd gen brakes will be lighter than just 4th gen drag brakes on stock spindles. The 3rd gen spindles/brakes will be a little more money. Brian can probably tell you the weight difference if you give him a call.

Yeah I just tried and Racecraft's site won't come up for me right now. It was working yesterday.

You should be able to get $150-200 for your ls1 brake set up if you sell it complete with the spindles.

The lightest I think would be the AJE thats has strut that dosn;t use the UCA at all. But the AJR stuff isnt always the same parts all the time, and not as nice as the racrcraft.

The racecraft stuff is very nice stuff. I just ordered a set of their spindle mount spindles and strange brakes. Going off racecrafts website its a 64.2 pound savings. I needed that weight off the nose of this stock internal car were messing with. It cost a ton of money to go this route though as the spindle mount alumastars i just bought are $522 a piece now. Welds going to go out of buisness again if they keep this up.

they also have a light weight spindle that will use 3rd gen brakes and you can still use your pro stars. Its a 42.1 pound savings.

I got these, saved 57.3 lbs.

Pa Racing now has 1993-2002 Camaro 2" Drop & Stock Height Spindles. Theses spindles are TIG welded in our fixtures, using CNC and 4130 components. These spindles also offer an astounding 57.3 lbs (these are true numbers not advertising hype!) of total weight savings over stock when used with the Strange Engineering 4 Piston Drag Kit (P/N B4110WC). Also avialable in spindle mount verision with brake kit (B4597WC)

Spindle weighs as shown 6.4 lbs.
Strange Pro steel brake kit 33.5 lbs.
Pa Racing spindles and Strange brake kit 39.9 lbs.
Stock spindles and brakes 97.2 lbs.
Pa Racing vs. Stock 57.3 lbs.

We have 1" - 2" drop spindles. They use 3rd gen brakes and are about the lightest out. We can also do a strut setup.

I'll have to look. They are not a big mover as they don't fit in stock suspension and are rather expensive.
