Default Totaled the Z28 yesterday

I totaled the Z28 yesterday now I'm on the market for a new car...well another car. I was considering all my options I make about 600 take home a week and I can spend 1 check on my car. I can buy an lt1 cash and mod the hell out of it, I can get another LS1 with less miles and pay it off with next years taxes, or(my fav) I can get a c5 vette possibly a drop. What do u guys think?

I like the LS1 F bodies myself. Vettes are cool too. I hope to never own an LT1 powered F body again, just not for me.

How bad is it? Any parts still usable?

I want a Camaro SS m6 or a4 for less than 9500, or a 00+c5 for less than 16000.

A termi and the vette he is asking for are about the same price. So pretty much what it comes down to is which one he really wants...

NA or BLOWER???

both are sexy cars imo...

Hey 1quick,
sorry for your loss man. Aare you going to part out your car? i may need some parts from it and in a way still know that your car is living through another car..lol..

Hey hey hey...they aren't that bad...

OP, I would get a LS1 Fbody. Will the money you save over the Vette, use it to mod the Camaro.

+1 I'd also imagine that parts for the vette would be more too(headers, intake, suspension)

I would either get a 4th gen f-body and mod the **** out of it or get a Terminator. Just my 2 cents

I make about 35k a year, live @ home , and wanna buy a 7 or 8 year old vette for 15k. I bought my camaro for 12 so that doesnt seem 2 bad. Private party financing is a bitch, so I have to get whatever I choose off a used car lot.

Dude what the hell did you do? thats some pretty gnarly damage man.

I say get the vette, if you are contemplating it at all just get it, lets say you get another camaro, but you had the chance to get a vette, you might not be that comfortable in another camaro. I would always stick with a camaro personally but it is a retarded obsession I have with these cars.

Lol, just not my thing, done too many water pumps and optis. Im still putting an LT1 in my 55 Chevy truck, just becasue its so easy, but its alot easier to work on under the hood of a truck.
