Default Finally got the blown TA down the track!

Video is below along with my fquick page.

This thing is a beast at the track!

Pueblo Motorsports park is crap, this was the first time out with my new FI setup and I only got 4 runs in. I went from a best of 13.7 with bolt-ons to 12.5 with FI on my first time out. Funny thing is that my 12.5 was on a 2.0 (spinning) 60'. I got a couple 1.8's (spinning badly) which F-body and vette guys kill foor at this track. Seriously, the track is that bad and we're over 6000 DA too. I was experimenting with tire PSI but seemed to do my best at 22.

Converted with DA my fastest from that equals out to this:

Density Altitude: 6271

12.124 @ 118.828 MPH

I'm not sure what to think of these results, I suppose it's pretty good for my lack of traction and improvement with the new HP. I really need to get it to hook up.

Some other stats from the night are in the video along with an in car shot with the gopro. The Mustang you see me leaving quickly in the in car vid was whipple blown. Not much info on that for you guys

Everyone swears by ET streets which I ordered up today. I'm going to go from a 275/35 BFG to a 265/40 MT. That will give me a bit more sidewall, hopefully traction, and according to the website, more width too. Hopefully a taller tire will help out my gear ratio giving me more of a stock height tire also so I'm not hititng 4th gear.

Summitt needs to get them to me quick so I can mount them before friday.

I'm sure this thing has an acutal 11 second run in it which I'm going for as soon as I get the MT's in. I think a 1.7 well get me there!

Stay tuned.

Wow you did spin quite a bit out of hole, pretty impressive 60' with that much wheel spin. You'll be in the 11's no problem, practice a little on banging them gears you will pick up a few tenths there, shifts sounded a little slow.

Seems slow for the power. I was running 11.8 @ 118 with 380whp 372wtq, full weight 6 speed Z28.

Well, got some more runs in this friday with the Mickey Thompsons and tried experimenting with launch techniques. Started at 20psi, then to 18, finally 17 seemed to give me an ok launch without getting to squrley on the backend.

Ended up get a couple 1.90's with a little tire spin. Without spinning and getting a nice hookup... 2.0

Trapped at 12.40 @ 111mph

And yes, the DA is 6200 plus feet. I think for me it's a matter of gearing, weight, and have 18 inch wheels now. My car is stock weight, plus 100+ lbs. in supercharger, with 18"s, and stock 3.42's. At this current setup and altitude, I think I've gotten about as good as I'm going to get. I think a 1.8 maybe possible to put me deeper into the twelves. But I don't think with some slicks, skinnies, and some weight reduction I'm going to get much faster.

I think I'll keep going out and see what happens and trying to improve little by little.
