Default goin to track next weekend want 12's any pointers?

Well, its time to go back to the track this weekend! My last trip to the track I was able to muster up a 13.0 @ 108 w/ a 2.0 60ft with limited traction cause of the bald 245's.

Ill be going back the same way but the only thing thats different is, I will be rotating the tires(front to the rear) and the MAF is decreened. Last time I was launching at around 1000rpms and giving it quarter throttle and once it hooked full throttle(due to traction issues). Anything I could be doing different to pick up that .064 of a second???

yes weight is your enemy ...... also put your tire pressure at 25lbs if there street radials that should help ...but getting drag radials will def. put you in the 12's

pull all the weight out you can since $$ is low. With no $ that's about all you can do. Do all the free mods I guess

put your reares to 25 psi fronts up to 45 psi. take your spare tire and jack out.

Do not do a burn out b/c you have street tires. Pull around the water box and peel out to the line.

What i do is rev the car to 3k and i slip the clutch out. Last week i pulled a 1.9 60' on Nitto STREET TIRES (315/35/17) it is all about your launch technique

I only go back after mod changes, but to each his own. better weather can drop your e.t by up to 1.5 tenths. if the tires are bald, maybe you should get some new ones. nittos are not the best, but better then bald tires and m/t radials would easy take off 2 tenths or more. and like the other guy said,up the air in the front tires.
