What would you pay for this?
I understand its a very low mile car and super clean. He wants 25k for this car. I emailed him a price of 17k and I would come pick up the car this weekend. He writes back and says the car is a collector car and because there are no more ws6's being made it makes the price of the car go up. he said he would not accept that low of an offer. What is a good offer and price for this vehicle. He has obviously treated the car very well

i think he's pretty close to right on the asking price. the fact that it's that low of mileage and unmolested makes it so. honestly, i know you're looking for something you can drive around, and i really don't think this is the car for you anyway. you should be looking for something with 30 or 40+ thousand miles. Its not really collectable with modifications. It is in awesome shape but it is not all that collectable yet and wont be for a while, also in this economy its not the time to sell things if you are looking for top dollar.
I think your offer was decent but a a little low.He just needs to understand that if he wont take offers the he shouldnt be selling it, and if he needs money he needs to take offers. If it were me and you are looking for a car to mod though id look for something cheaper with more mileage. Nothing wrong with 50,000+ miles on these cars.
I have a couple cars I would sell if the market were ok but because i wont get anywhere near what they are worth im keeping them.

notice the "1500" NON refundable part. Its a common ebay scam paypal cant do crap if it says "NON refundable on the deposit". So basically they just keep your money until u beg for it back and return part and keep the 1500.

"collector car"
i only saw about 15 on the way to work this morning, haha.
if thats your dream car then go for it. but to give you an example i just saw a 02 QS z06 on CF with 20k miles for 25k$ i think.
that ws6 is going to keep depreciating every single year. i had one, they are nothing special, guys just trying to use tactics to unload his crap while he still can before he takes a beating on it.

Man there was a dealer ship here in Grand Prairie that sold a 2002 WS6 just like that same color and everything for 8995 with 32k on it. I just missed it. I was so pissed. They had it on craigslist. Just an FYI, they can be found cheaper.

17-18K is well max IMO also! I laughed my *** off as he said it was on rubber mats so there wouldn't be any flat spots LOL! What an idiot the flat spots are caused from the weight of the car sitting on the tires and not what the tires are sitting on. Most collector cars are on Jack stands to take the weight off of the tires.

I would do the same thing. You don't agree on selling a car and hold it for someone only to have them flake out. That's how business works. You either pay up from...or make a deposit. By making a deposit it helps you not get screwed as a seller. I just don't get why people don't understand how a deposit works. Yes people scam but that's a risk you have to take when buying from a private seller.
