power loss
well guys i have a problem. i switched from my true duals back to a 3 inch y pipe. granted is was made at an exhaust shop. now my car feels like its lost power. could it be from the way they cut the hole for the pipe to y into or cause of the bends they made or the fact they didnt mae a new pipe for the passenger side header and used the true dual and made it work either way im agrivated and wondering what i need to do to fix it

The only thing I can think of is that the pcm has pick up the change and the adaptive is picking up what was changed (back pressure). Give it about 50 miles or so ( I think that is what it takes to reset).
How many miles have you put on it so far? Does that idle surge? Does it act as if there is a vacuum leak ( higher that normal idle when slowing to a stop)?
P.S. Mike ......Your gay

Agreed, I went from a Mufflex 3" ORY/SLP D/D w/ a cut out to -> TSP 3" TD's. My a/f with the y-pipe set up was 12.6 - 12.8:1, the first pull we made with the duals, it was 14.8:1 and climbing at 4800 RPM before we aborted the run. Needless to say, the car needed the tune tweaked a little bit after the TD install.

As mentioned it could be in the tune and should be checked for sure.
But you also mentioned that they made the "Y" and did not use a merge collector. Chances are the piping is too small and most likely has a few tight non mandrel bends and then the hole in the one pipe to make the "Y" is probably not close to the right size.
Some pics will definitely help for sure.
