Default I just had a crazy idea, need your opinions

I have boyd coddington smoothie II wheels and I was going to powder coat the spokes gunmetal and leave the lip polished but I had a crazy idea. What about silver vein spokes and a polished lip?

Question

I think a solid color would look better.

Isn't the silver vein going to make the spokes look like they have a extremely bad pitting problem?

Looks good on the valve cover, but I think solid on the wheels is a better choice too!
