Aftermarket defogger for windshield?????
As with many of us with turbo setups, I had to sacrifice my A/C. Living in Florida = afternoon thunderstorms almost daily. This adds up to alot of wipping the windshield with a towl in order to be able to see.
I was told that there were some aftermarket electric heaters with a fan that you can mount under the dash to blow warm air on the windshield and keep it from fogging up. Does anyone have a link or info on these? I can't seem to find them. I found everything from the **** you wipe on the glass (generally accepted that it doesn't work) to some new nanotech laquer coating that is energized that they are working on (works but not available).

And another $41.88 + freight for the plenum box.

Don't think that I will need the plenum box as I should be able to mount and aim it at the defogger louvers in the dash pad. Seems like overkill for what I need as I will rarely, if ever, need it for actually warming up the engine compartment here in South Florida.

A really good cleaning followed by some RainX anti-fog on all the insides of the windows has done a great job for me. RainX regular on the outside and mirrors and you're golden.
