Default What Corvette wheels to get from OE Wheels LLC

I am looking for some new wheels for my Z28. Right now I have some Chrome 10 spoke SS wheels. I am looking at OE Wheels LLC and am unsure what to go with. My top two choices right now are the C5 or C6 Z06 wheels. But I also like the C5 wheels . What is everyones opinion? My car is a 2000 Camaro Z28 Red with ground effects. What wheels would look the best in your opinion and do you think I should go chrome or black with machine faced? Here is a picture of my car tell me what you think.

well you can always keep the 10 spokes in your garage. out of those options i would say C6Z wheels. they are nice wheels.

Well I just bought the black with machine faced C6 Z06 wheels. So I will be selling my 10 spoke rims. If anyone wants a set of four post up an offer. They are chrome and do have some pitting and there is a small I would say one inch section on one of the lips that has some curb rash. But they will be for sale if anyone is looking for a set. Rims only no tires.

Like these rims alot but the finish im looking for is discontinued sooo, they're only offered in 10.5's (thats all they have left apparently). Curious about the look from different angles and any fitment issue (ANY) up front with 10.5. No matter how minor the issue(s)..... just gearing up to buy these and when spending over 1500 on wheels and tires I dont want any surprises...

-does the wheel/tire stick out past the top part of fender in the front?
-What size tire is on that 10.5 wheel in your sig?
-daily drivability change much with wider wheel up front?
-what size spacers you running if any?
-how drastic was the trimming in the front wheel well(if any)?
-and are there any general oddities about this 10.5 c5 dd wheel tire setup that you didnt notice till you see them on the car in person (various angles, turning all the way left or all the way right and such)? I mean, besides them looking pretty sweet in all the photos i see..hehe..

Store the factories somewhere. But I love the C5 ZO6 wheels! the C6 ZO6 are really nice too but I prefer C5Z.

No

-What size tire is on that 10.5 wheel in your sig?

275 35 18 , if you are scared of any type of stretched tire look, go with 295

-daily drivability change much with wider wheel up front?

Going from 245 50 16 to a wide low profile tire makes for more tramlining (following the ruts in the road)

-what size spacers you running if any?

No spacers in the front, you can probably fit a 295 35 tire up front without a spacer but it is quite close to the upper a arm. I did put 1/4 inch spacers in the rear because it looks better if you bring the rear wheels out 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

-how drastic was the trimming in the front wheel well(if any)?

No trimming for me, you may have slight rubbing on the plastic fender liner with a 295 tire at full turn but I don't think it's much of a concern.

The rear wheels are sunk in about a half inch more than the fronts from the factory, so with the same width rim all around, I think it looks better if you bring the rears out with spacers to match the front. Also, anytime you put 295 tires or bigger with spacers in the rear, you may have to roll the lip on the rear qtr panels for tire clearance. Particularly if your car is lowered.

OP sold his car and went with c6's. I didn't even look at original post date when replying.
