BRAKES question.
ok so needless to say. my brakes SUCK. wen i brake at ANY speed above 10 mph the whole car shakes voilently. if i try to press them really quick to stop fast they FAIL. completely FAIL lol anyways im looking into getting an all new brake setup. pads rotors etc etc. my question is should i replace EVERYTHING that has to do with the brakes? or just the rotors? a freind told me my rotors were cracked so i kno i need them. and i was wonderin if ne1 knew of any deals or specials any places are having & how much $$ it would cost. my cars not that powerful so i dont need million dollar brakes. i know NOTHING about brakes thats y im askin stupid question.
p.s. if ur just gonna call me stupid n all that bs dont even post. i seem to get that ALOT wen i post here thats y i never do... im jus looking for help

I personally love the BP1 package from StranoParts:http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=17&ModelID=7
They are a little expensive, but i think its well work it. My wifes car stops GREAT now! And like ConElite said, flush the system really well.

I use the slotted rotors from WS6Store, all four for $169 and have used Hawks and the Autozone Ceramic pads, I dont see any difference between the two and the autozone are lifetime warranty.
You would have probably $350 into your brakes. Just dont get the crossdrilled rotors, they can and probably will crack between the holes.

I have simply Slotted Rotors. Dont get Drilled unless they are Bear or another good brand.
2 piece would be ideal but very pricey. For a budget build, get Duralast Golds from Auto-Zone and some Slotted rotors. Get some free fluid and call it a day.
The differance between Hawks is they resist Brake fade and dont Glaze over, And believe me I have Glazed over many many Pads, but thats the beauty of Lifetime warrenty.

Yea I had the Hawks and was happy with em but then I realized one day my brakes REALLY needed replaced and almost no places around here carry performance pads and if they do they are closed weekends, so I went with the AZ Gold Ceramic, they are actually pretty nice and quiet, feel just like the Hawks even at 100+mph.

I upgraded to slotted rotors all around with pad for like 200 bucks, never had a shaking issue agian and I've braked HARD! The pads that came with my rotors suck ***, so I think I'll be upgrading to some new ones real soon and flush out my green *** brake fluid LOL!
