Default 5.3l build plan

-5.3l HO from an 02 tahoe has 60k miles runs fine not gonna bother rebuilding it yet.
-gonna send out the heads have them shaved .20 have a valve job done and ported and polished
-85mm throttle body
-40# injectors
-Aftermarket Fuel rails
- running truck manifolds cuz the motors in a mustang so for clearance reasons i got no choice (any way to make them flow better or do they flow alright?)
-2 1/2in exhaust no cats
-running the stock truck intake just because thats what i have to work with
- 255 lph fuel pump
- Duration 261/265, Lift .554/.558 Comp cam w/ matching springs
-hardened pushrods
-comp Lifters
-1.7 ratio roller rockers

where do you guys think ill be at for power? its all going through a 4l60 completely built with a 2500 rpm stall and 3.73 gears in a posi rearend how much do you think ill have at the tires

where do you guys think ill be at for power? its all going through a 4l60 completely built with a 2500 rpm stall and 3.73 gears in a posi rearend how much do you think ill have at the tires

lose the 85mm tb just have your stock one ported

40# injectors is overkill 30's should be fine......

stock fuel rails are good to like 700rwhp i think you'll be fine with stock ones

alot of people have LT's in mustangs....

stock lifters will be fine

your stock rockers are 1.7...

ok so port the stock t-body
should i get 1.8 rockers or is there no need?
leave the stock fuel rails and lifters and use 30# injectors and then ill have it tuned what do you think ill have for rwhp after the head work and ****?

no need for 1.8's what are the cam specs at 0.50?

208/212 is there a begtter choice for a cam? how high can i go lift wise on those stock heads with the stock springs

spend some money on some LS6 springs atleast they're good to .580 i believe

if i was you i'd go with a Thunder racing 224 cam... the specs are 224/224 .563/.563 on 112lsa

ya i think ill go with that cam its got the power band im looking for any idea what ill be looking at for power with all this **** including the spirngs
