Read your owner's manual, but you should just be able to turn the key on, car off and then press and hold the trip reset button until the oil change light blinks/goes out.

1. turn the key to the on position.
2. slowly depress the gas pedal to the floor three(3) times in 5 seconds.
3.turn key off.
4.turn car on. light should have gone out.
5.reset the light every time you change your oil.
This works on most g.m.'s (including your f-body) and some mopar's

If I've had the negative terminal disconnected for a couple days, will this reset the oil life indicator? Not that I'm really using it right now. But I'm curious. Thanks. Sorry for a hijak.
