Default 6.0 piston question LQ4/LQ9

Ok now I know the LQ4 is dished and LQ9 is flat top.. Question is how big of a dish? I have a 6.0 new that I'm putting in a 99TA and with a borescope I can see a small ridge around the edge of the piston and its fly cut also. Is that a LQ4 style? or is it the higher compression LQ9 that required valve reliefs.

Thats what I thought.. the valve reliefs threw me a little. I wonder why they put those on a dished piston

someone either cut them in, or the valves were hitting the piston.
to date ive never seen a stock lq4 with vr.

Same here. My LQ4 doesn't have them. Did this motor have a larger cam in it to your knowledge?
