Rule 3700 pump part 2.
5055 ft density altitude. 94F....hot,hot,hot...good day to test the Atw pump.
Only made one run since the track temp was 123F and nasty out...but wanted some data.
2 gallons of h2o plus 32 lbs of ice...that was melting fast in the pits...lol..
IC core was around 100F when I turned the pump on....dropped to 63F fast...during the burnout. Left the line at 63F and finished the run at 94F. 19psi 153mph....4025lbs...decent results for the IC...should have run the pump longer before I made the run.

Twin 76 Turbonetics 81ar, Speed inc kit. 428 ci, 19psi, 15degrees timing that will now change with the AtW, Garrett 2000hp core, 3.00 rear gear, 325's, tight NC converter...93% up top, leave at 3900 on 7-9psi...7psi = 1.5x sixty, 9psi =1.42sixty, now 4025lbs....still has AC, power everything...heavy goof build.
Turned the pump on at the burnout when the core was 100F...dropped to 63F by the time I came off the brake....only "prechill" was in the burnout box.
9psi launch here:

Two of the 734408-6005 cores welded together.
1" lines 38ft long.
Sunoco 116
Precooling down into the 40's should really help.
Then comes the debate of AIT's vs Octane...some will argue 100F is better for 116.

It was 6:15 yesterday....and I should have been inside exactly like you say....had to make one hit to see if all the hacking was worth it. Nothing more fun than an asphalt pit on a 94 day with a firesuit on.
