Is it possible
to run a 7.1 in the 1/8th and run 10.99 out the back half?
Wait for the poll..
EDIT: more clarification, All motor, with a TH350, and the car cant be a 6.80 car with a bad 1/8th and pull it back in the last half..

It is NOT POSSIBLE by a legit 7.1 1/8 mile car. It's only "possible" if the car is faster than a 7.1 car, and makes it up. Like a 10.2 car spinning bad or missing a gear in the 1/8 and making it up in the back half.
A true 7.1 car will not back half to a 10sec pass. Especially not in a TH350.

No,
Actually you didn't. That was a 7.00 you ran, not a 7.1. Add to that you only turned a 1.73 60', but you are pulling 103 says you are leaving ALOT on the table. I.E. your car should be well into the 6's on nitrous if you get the car sorted out. This is magnified in your 1/4 et vs 1/4 mph. You got enough mph to go considerably deeper into the 10s.
If anything, you reinforced my statement, haha

You could go 7.02, 7.03, 7.04, 7.05....7.09 and on and on and on.
And no it is not possible, because that guys pass is the exact situation I laid out in my first response:
If the car is a legit 7.1 car, and especially if it's a Auto(specifically a TH350) it's not going to make it up on the back half.
That car is not even close to a legit 7.1 car. Probably more like a 6.6-6.8 car if he ran what his mph indicates.

last year at bg on motor i ran 7.14 1/8 th @ 100 mph with a 1.64 60' and wound up with an 11.11 @ 125. with an a/t tranny and the right size stall the 60' should be better so i'd say no, unless someone has a really tight vert that has a very weak 60' or they spin.

If the car runs a similar front and back half, a 6.9x is likely what will get you a 10.9x.
My best pass is a 7.041 at 97.23 in the 1/8 and an 11.12 at 119.77 in the 1/4 on a 1.542 60 foot. Granted a 4th gen will help in the aerodynamics over a Nova, but not enough IMHO to clip a 10.99.
