Default 93-97 or 98-02

I am currently building a 93 or 95 Trans Am (depending on whether or not the 93 turns out to be straight) and love the look of either style the 96/97 WS6 or the 98-02 Raptor Look. I do not intend on claiming it will be a WS6 because that would be silly. Anyways, I am torn between the two designs. Which would you choose, and why?

98-02 because it makes mustangs wet their beds when they are forced to go to sleep

98-02 style just looks better IMO. I don't have a reason beyond "Personal Preference."

Until they get beat by an "LT1"

I love them both. I PREFER the looks of the 98-02 Trans Am WS6, but a 93-97 with Ram Air hood is hard to beat! The hood and color of my car is the only reason I highly considered it. Was the best looking LT1 I found locally. Oh and the price was right!

LT1 WS6 all the way I think the LT1 front end with the WS6 hood flows better with the rest of the car than the LS1 front end does.

I agree with the "i won't actually call it a WS6" though because i didn't badge mine as one either. i just say it has an oem ram air box and hood.

WTF?!?!?!? I'm looking at a 2010 Mustang ad on LS1Tech!

Go with the Raptor, it screams LSx, and everyone know's LSx > anything else

Since it's a "LT1" body that you've got, then I'd stick with the same style. I voted 93-97.

Im with demonspeed. If you have an LT1 car, then use the LT1 front clip. I personally dont like it when people make their cars look like something they're not, and I think the LT1 ram air style is probably a bit more rare, gives it a bit more of the old school cool factor. I wouldn't want to pop the hood on an LS1car and be looking at an LT1 motor, that would just **** me off.

I recently bought a 96 ws6 and I hated the look of the lt1 t/a's. but I changed the taillights to 98-02 style ones and I have started liking the front a lot more.

Keep it true to it's LT1 heritage. I voted 93-97 Ram Air. They look great.

Keep it true with 93-97 lt1 look. If you don't want to badge it
as WS6 (I don't blame you), you can always badge it WS7 (i.e. owner
built package).

Keep the 93-97 front end. Its becoming pretty rare to see.

The only badge I would consider will be LSX, once I have one in there, or a Hurst Equipped badge since i have a nice Hurst shifter for it.

I'd keep the LT1 front end.

The one thing I don't like about the LS1 front is the dual nostials. I think it looks better.... more sleek.... without them.
