Head/cam/intake plus project update
Just thought I would show a few pictures of the project almost ready to fire up! Car is a 2003 Z06 Corvette with 10,000 miles.
Parts installed include:
TEA CNC TFS 215 heads milled to 60cc, Cometic 0.040" head gaskets, Comp Cam 232/236 .595/.578 113+3, TEA ported Fast 90, Vmax ported 90mm TB, Manton 3/8" pushrods, Ford SVO 42# Injectors, Morel Lifters, Jesel Sportsman Series Rockers, ATI Underdrive Pulley, Meziere EWP, Cloyes Hex Adjust with IRL Chain, Melling 10296 Oil Pump, Katech Valve Covers with Coil Relocation, American Racing Headers, ARP head studs & other hardware, DeWitt aluminum radiator with dual spal fan setup, and Vararam intake & powerduct. Degreed the cam and installed on 110 intake centerline and flycut pistons .100" on intake side.
Thought I would show a picture since the forum & some of the vendors supplied parts!

My original goal was 450 rwhp but I am hopeful to break that - maybe by 10-15 rwhp? Anyway, as long as I hit 450 rwhp I will be satisfied!

I went a little more than needed while I was doing it. We measured only 0.040" on intake with using my old GM MLS gasket. After flycutting there was plenty of clearance. In the end, I was also able to use 0.40" Cometics to gain some of the lost compression back. I didn't mention it in my original post (edited now) but TFS 215's were milled to 60cc!

That is the way Fast manifold comes to accomodate stock fuel rail crossover - not just 98's. Wish they would have offered that as an option or I could have filled it in!

Well it started up with no leaks and good oil pressure! Whew!
Threw a few codes after startup but they were just software issues with the tune. Now no codes but we need to get tune worked out a bit - has a little bucking under 2000 rpm and idle likes to hang around 1500 rpm sometimes. Nothing major - will work on them this weekend with a friend and see what we can accomplish!
Here is the startup video:

I reused an old tape so forgive the shower at the end!
