help me select a wideband air/fuel meter
im looking into getting an air/fuel meter for my carbed LS1. I want to see how horrible my demon is before i switch to a holley.
so what do you recommend? should i get a dual sensor meter like the FAST or should i go with a single sensor meter like an AEM with an indash digital gauge?
my exhaust already has the O2 bungs so all i need to do is plug it in.
i found a FAST dual sensor meter on ebay for $411 new with free shipping...

Innovate works well in "real time"
I have one mounted in the center console that really helped me get my carb working properly. In 4th on the freeway, the AFR is 15:1+ when just going on a flat road. Idle AFR and under full power are all optimized.
The engine is a ZZ4/383/200R with a QJet in a heavy 3400+lb Jaguar sedan.
Only problem is it's/my failure to dim the gauge lights when it is dark. Really brights lights and very easy read.
It helped increase my fuel mileage and performance a lot. My mileage went from 10 mpg to 15-16 mpg on my 86 mile daily work round trip in heavy So Cal stop and go traffice with the AC on. Plus, this car still has the 3:54 posi until I have time to install the 2:88's and get more mileage.

every time i have attempted to hook the cigarette lighter to the painless 18 circuit chassis harness it always blows the fuse. then again the original lighter unit in my car looks pretty wasted. i contacted classic industries and a few other parts places for a replacement but they didnt have them in stock. its been a few years since i looked in the repo mags for one.
i never noticed they sold them at the local parts stores. its just a constant hot wire and a ground i assume right?

i picked up a universal 12v outlet that has a tiny bracket on it. I think i can get away with mounting it where the ashtray goes in my 69. there is a little bracket i can drill and mount and it should stay in place.
i ended up ordering the fast dual sensor unit. i have been reading about it and watched a cool video on it.
should be fun fiddling with my new holley carb.
