Default Yellow plugs - Pics inside

Hey guys.

Noticed the other day that I had a hesitation when the motor was cold around 2000 rpms or so. I had recently replaced the plugs with NGK TR55 copper plugs. I believe I also got colder than stock plugs as was recommended in a thread on here. Hell if I can find the thread now though. The gap on all of them was around .038

When I pulled the passenger side plugs, they looked fine. Looked like a normal used plug. However the driver side, they ALL had yellow on the electrode(?) of the plug. What could cause this discoloroation? Is is at all possible I've got a goofy 02 sensor for that side which could have the car running rich/lean?

Here's the pics. Left plug was from the passenger side and is what all 4 looked like. Right side is from driver side and all 4 looked this way.

02 sensor probably isn't operating properly. You won;t necessarily get a code until it fails.

Replace it with a Denso.

I believe it's dexcool. All 4 cylinders on that side of the engine looked that way. Gonna replace the O2 sensors tomorrow and see what happens.

Its not coolant getting in. If it were getting into all 4 on that side you'd have major overheating issues too, with coolant boiling over.

I hope I don't get screwed but I'm going to put Bosch plugs in tomorrow. My father in law works at carquest and he can get me stuff for crazy cheap. Hopefully I get lucky with them. If not, I'll try to find some denso's or order some Delco's off GM parts direct.

Don;t waste your time with Bosch. Also, AC Delco 02 sensors are now Densos.

I believe Densos are like $39.00 here: www.rockauto.com

Part # 2344087 and #2344025

Denso's website says you can buy them at Carquest so I'll check into it when I go up there. Were going to the beach and taking that car on Saturday so unfortunately I can't wait for any to be shipped to me. Cross your fingers for me.
