Are you talking about a set of worked heads from a sponsor or just a stock set?

With your mods I would spend my money on a ls6 intake and cam. That would get you more power for your $$$ then just a set of stock heads. Just my $.02.

I had a TR224/568/112lsa cam with a ls6 intake and full exhaust before my current setup and made 396rwhp/383rwtq. The cam in the link is just a little bigger. Also one big thing I forgot... what transmission do you have?

Well you'll need to match a stall for the cam. So if that's out you could go with a set of heads and the ls6 intake. How much $$$ are the ls6 head you were looking at.

For the $700 you might not be happy with the power per dollar ratio. If it were me I would put the 700 in to a set of ported heads

For $700 you could by a cam kit(cam/springs/pushrods) and make way more power than you will with a stock set of LS6 heads. If you are looking for something that makes really good power with great street manners, look at the TR224 or the TR230/224.

If your willing to change the converter I would go with the cam and intake and save up for some heads later down the road.

If you change converters, that opens up a whole new window of camshafts you can look at. Just need to know what converter you are going to put in to know what cam will work with it.
