the ones i have are actually almost 1.5" deep on the rear. the face of the spokes is pretty much flush with the rim on the front but on the rears the face of the spokes are about 1.5" from the outside of the rim. The polished part is the same though. I've seen the newer style ones where the entire wide lip is polished but i think the rims are the same as mine.

yeah, they are 50mm offset vs 36mm (or 39?). that is why spy2520's stick out farther. those were made for the C4 ZR1. they had a 4" wider rear end than the standard C4. notice the deeper lug wells.
i love mine!!!
and i do have the sportlines....i rolled the lip on the inside of the fender to be on the safe side.

I can assure you that Spy2520s wheels are also 50mm. And 'lug wells' aren't "deep". They just appear that way. Check out the true GM 17x11 ZR1s, they are waaaaay deeper then spys.

hmm, i didnt honestly look at his rim. i just figured that if they didnt have the lip then they must be an exact replica of the ZR1 rim.
how are they the same offset, same width rim, and have a different "dish"?
true ZR1 rim

i agree that they are not the same specs at the original ZR1s, but from looking at the pics, his rims definitely stick out farther from the wheel well than mine do, so im thinking that they are not the same back spacing. id like to know the tru measurements of his wheels vs. mine.....
I dont think backspacing can change without changing offset given the same wheel width.

DAMN!! your axle is way off center. i used a 5mm spacer on the pass side so that they would sit in the wheel well the same. ive heard it very common for the axle to be off to the left, but yours is a lot.
yeah, your right. the off set would be different if the backspacing was different on the same width rim. off set is the difference between the centerline of the rim vs. the mounting surface (where the wheel touches the rotor).
