New PB thanks guys
Shiztiny, ATVracr, Larry (SpeedInc.) Took your advice, leaned it out and took some timing out. Old best was a 10.89, new best 10.75 in worse air and with a slighty worse 60ft. Thanks for the help. Rick

So once the fuel ring looks good I then start putting some timing back in, while keeping an eye on the fuel ring?

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't put the TR7's in yet. Still had the 6's in and some 104 unleaded in the tank. I will next time before I go and bring some extras with. I need the gloves and a shorty socket so I can do this on the return road. I'm just a small dog with limited resources.

I've pulled many plugs on the return road.

I hear ya. header wrap helps alot even if you only do 4-5" on each tube.

Good idea, I'll put that on my parts list. On another note, I still can't believe I was at the track and missed the record setting run by JakesZ28. I had no idea he was there and was about to be the first LT1 on juice to break into the 8's. In crappy air no less. 2600-2800 DA

Not to bust your bubble but it seems like the gains were from adding more nitrous. The Da did suck. What A/F are you seeing on a pass. I would get those tr7's in. I sprayed 200 on TR6's once. I melted the tips off with 10 degrees of timing out. It cost me a stock bottom end. I here they are like glow plugs. I now drive the car N/A with the tr7's and spray it. I have learned alot from ATV and shiznity. Pull alot of timming with correct plugs and dial in the A/F. Congrats on the new best.

lil bro
you lost a motor from a TNT fuel solenoid failure if I recall correctly + the fact of over 600rwhp with an auto on a stock block probably didn't help
Rick's car would make more power weather he leaned it out from fuel or added nitrous, so whichever way it is it worked. We like to go the nitrous route as well
now you should be doing good and need to get your turd on the hose again

Thanks Charlie, I agree with what your saying about the larger nitrous jet. The point is though, it needed to be leaned out some more. The oringinal jetting was a 62N 41F. Saw some gains by putting the 38F jet in. I think I could have run a 36F with the 62N and saw the same gains as the 67N 38F. I'm just happy to be making some headway.
