2000 Chevy Camaro V6 Won't Start
I was driving down the highway and my car's oil pressure gage started acting funny (moving all around), then I loose the ability to accelerate or brake so I pull to he side of the road. I originally though it was not enough oil in the car or the battery/starter was the problem. But after changing/adding oil and replacing the battery the car still won't start. Could this be a alternator, spark plug, or fuel pump/sending unit issue?
Any other suggestions, what should I check first?

No it's not throwing any codes. It cranks but just won't start. I tried to start it yesterday and it sounded like it wanted to come on but couldn't (Heard exhaust).

Is changing the fuel pump something I should take to a shop or attempt myself? If it's possible for me to do myself, what kind of tools will I need and where can I get a good but not to expensive fuel pump.

I would probably troubleshoot the problem before I started randomly replaced parts on my car based on what someone told me over the internet.........
highly recommended...
Since the MAF failing on the 3800 Series II is also a common cause of no-start conditions, it too could be bad (and no, you won't see a code most of the time).
The harness to the ignition control module (located just under the three coil packs) is also known to go bad.
These are just examples. In no way do I want you to run out and buy a new MAF sensor, coil pack, harness, etc.
My suggestion is to take it to the local shop and have it looked at. That is unless you prefer to tackle this job yourself (considering you have time).

It's not that I'm listening to them. Most of my friends some of which are mechanics have told me it's the fuel pump. But I'll probably take it to the local shop and make sure though.

Does the pump make any noises when you first turn key? Something similar happened to my 95 V6... It was the Fuel Pump. Would make a weird winding noise when key turned, would try to crank but never quite make it.
