Default high idle while driving

what i have done so far.
-checked for vac leaks
-replaced iat sensor (for another reason)
-cleaned maf
-replaced IAC
-new pcv valve

When at idle the rpms sit right around 850 rpms like it should. As soon as i hit the gas it will shoot to 1500 and stay there. When the converter locks up it will hold a constant speed after i get off the gas.

About a week ago i noticed the hose going from the pass side valve cover to the pcv valve poped off. I put it back on and that is when my problems started.

Car has 115xxx miles on it.

mods include
g5x2, pt4400, tuned by FLP, p&p t/b, ls6 intake, mac mid legnths, xpipe, xr-1 mufflers.

Is the PCV hose cracked, causing a vacuum leak?

What size is your bypass hole in your TB?

Not sure exactly what size the hole is. It has been on the car for 4+ years now with out any problems.

Not sure if there is any cracks/holes in it but pcv hose needs to be replaced.

I had a problem a while ago after I took my TB off to polish it then put it back on, my revs were holding at around 2000 because the cable was either snagged or twisted, not letting the blade fully close.
Messed around with it a bit to loosen it & it's been fine since.

PROBLEM FIXED

-first i cleaned out the t/b...although it wasn't my problem I can't believe how dirty it was.
-After that i took off all the pcv hoses. The Y in the back of the motor had a hole the size of a pen.

I replaced all the hoses on my lunch (work at carquest) and the car is running at 100% again.

Where did you get the proper fittings and hoses?

what i did was use 3/8" hose going to a T. After that I used 3/8" hose going to the pass side fitting and the other 3/8" hose going into the pcv valve. On the bigger side of the pcv valve i used (i believe) 3/4" heater hose into a plastic reducer. Then on the other side of that I used (i believe) 5/8" hose. Then one more reducer down to the 3/8" hose connected to my catch can.

Edit: I got them all at carquest. Normal pricing for everything (no pcv valve included) would have been under $5

while after driving 100+ miles on it tonight it seems to be hanging up still a little bit.

It IS better but still not where it should be. I'm going to search for other vac leaks.

*update*

Brought the car over to dan at Finish line performance. I've been there many times and can't say enough good things about them.

After he hooked the car up to his scanner he saw that bank two was running very rich. he checked around the 02 sensor and saw there was a huge exhaust leak. (my car is so loud i couldn't hear it)

He did a temp fix to make sure the problem went away and sure as hell the ltfts leveled out and the car ran perfectly.

THANKS DAN!!!
