Bad shifting (boosted car)

If your shifts are slow...shift faster.
If you are concerned about boost dropping between shifts. Then either shift faster, or dont let off.
I'd have thought both be pretty obvious ? Although obviously there are risks with flat shifting. I personally wouldnt do it....I'm happy enough going easy when changing gear.

Flat shift hommie.
Ou actually don't shift that bad from what I see but, you could be quicker. I learned how to power shift years ago in the same kind of car. Sometimes due to power/loss of traction we obviously can't powershift some of the lower gears like 1-2-or 2-3...but,..if you can't you really out to do it. Precious time is gained everytime you can as you mentioned you may be missing out on.
If you don't feel very comfortable powershifting a lower gear,...atleast try a 3-4 powershift. Every gear is important but, thats a crucial on. As someone said, practice practice practice.
Go somewhere,...somewhere you won't get arrested...and do some flat shift practices. Maybe start off on the 1-2 shift as your car should burn through both and it'll be easier on your drivetrain/clutch since your tires will probably be blowingoff lol.
I've broken multiple transmissions in the fox/sn95/f-body/y-body. Plan to miss some shifts. I don't think I have missed a gear racing anybody in a few years so, practice does help like you wouldn't believe. Just be prepaired to quickly lift off the throttle, should you miss a gear, or engage the wrong gear like soo many people have.
If all else fails, use the force.

I understand the value of an automatic but, I also understand the value of a well driven manual. I only know manuals,...and in my world, an automatic will never be an option. Better yourself(whoever) and your shifting skills. Believe me,...i'm tired of changing clutches but,...i'd rather do that, so I can feel like i'm in full control of the car. Autos,...I honestly don't feel as safe in. For the street,...which is where I am primarily on my ride,...it's crucial. The left pedal is my traction control.
