Default camshaft upgrade

Hello my name is jimmy,and iam from sweden.

I have a -98 z28 m6 with cold air intake kit and catback system,and looking for a cam upgrade.

its a daily driver,but it doesnt matter if idle gets a little ruff,i want power=)

Any suggestions?

comp cams make some good products or check out patriot performance

a cam with these spec 236/242 .580/.590 LSA 112,114,116

is it to extreme for my car? and what lsa should i chose?

uhh...if its a daily driver I would go with a 224/224 with a max of .600 of lift on both with a 114 lsa for a smoother idle.

Seems like too much cam for your mods/goals

Its lot of cam out. What are your goals for hp at the wheels, and will the car see any track time. Also do alot of searching and you should come up with something you want.

i agree a 224 .585 114 would be a good daily..with longtubes intake and a Tune sould be good

Before a cam I would get headers and if you can't then I would look at a cam specificaly designed to use stock manifolds.
something like 216/230 .565/.573 113+3 LSA
