Default Big brake kit and wheel clearance?

I'm thinking about buying a big brake kit for my 02 WS6. I am leaning towards Brembo or Baer. I have a set of 18" Fikse Profil 5S wheels on the car. I don't want to run spacers. Do any of you know if either one of those kits will clear the wheels? Is there any other brake kit that I should look at other than the two big guys?

stoptech is said to require 17's minimum. its a 4 piston caliper and i believe 13" rotor. 1000 bucks cheaper then brembo's. and perform equaly as good. bear gets expensive once u get into the 4 and 6 piston setup. i think theyre basic claw system is over priced. its just a c5 caliper w/ larger rotor. just my 2 cents. look a few threads theres a custom setup using 05-07 cadillac cts-v 4 piston brembo calipers and C6 ZO6 14" rotors. requires 18's minimum, only thing is even w/ 18's u still might have to run a spacer due to spoke clearance.

Thanks for advice. I don't really want to run the Vette or CST-V calipers. I want the brand name of the caliper on the caliper and not the specific vehicle it was on from the factory. Like the CTS-V has the big V on it. I know I know **** huh. I'll have to check out the Stoptechs.

The CTS-V calipers are Brembos.... like Thumper said, just repowdercoat them. That'll save you an ish ton of money. There's a GP going on right now for CTS-V calipers and C6 ZO6 rotors... look into it.

OEM Vette Brake Calipers and Baer Brake Calipers are made by PBR. . . .

My C5 Brake setup fits fine behind my 18" Fikses, so I can only assume that a Baer system of the same size would fit.

As far as the CTS V and the 6th Gen Z06 Calipers I do not beleive either of those fit behind F-Car offset Fikses.

Oops re-typed that . . . .

Sorry man, I just had to laugh a bit at that.

Anyways, I'm not sure why would wouldn't want to just but a set of PBR, AKA C5 brakes, then get some decent pads. The biggest difference in braking is going to be pads. I'm not sure why everyone wants these huge brakes, unless it's just for show. But a C5 brake setup with say a XP10 pad will outperform most anything out there. Just my $.02.

I want it more for looks than anything. That's why I said I want it to have the brake manufacturer on there and not a big V or Corvette. And again thanks for all the help guys.

You can buy the PBR "C5" calipers without the "Corvette" on the side of the caliper.
