i say about 12hp. and 7tq.
330 being your baseline, so 342hp, and 337tq.

If your on a mustang dyno you'll probably do the same as me. I have a light flywheel/clutch but a custom tune should get you a little more than my canned tune.

I would say you are looking at around 15-20hp/15-20tq depending on how conservative the tune is. On a dynojet you will probably be closer to seeing the 20 number.

i gave him realistic real world rwhp & tq figures.
not cheesey dyno claims and fantasy football scenarios.

life by design is meant to be difficult, this aint shoots and ladders.

hate to say it but i think 342-345 sounds about right, for the money thats porbably the best things you can do for the price of the tune. catback for 700-1300 wont even get you that. thats why i might just get a dyno tune and be done with it because the only real power adders are 7k, or 2k for headers and exhaust.

I would say get headers and exhaust first then get a dyno tune you'll get more benefit I believe than just goin with CAI and tryin to get a tune.. Save your money for LT's and a tune! Thats what im doin.. Just my 2cents.

Ya i dont plan on gettin headers or anything that major till way down the road.

Tune seems like a good bang for the buck right now, and if I add headers it will only be 150 for a re-tune once they do the initial one.

I have seen 25-30RWHP gain (sorry for the range but both were a while ago) on a V w/LS6 and C6Z with no mods. A good tuner will definitely get your 30RWHP with those mods. Mike at Diablo or Jesse at W4M probably can send you the tune with their handheld.

I doubt anyone will see 25-30 rwhp with just a tune on a V. If so , someone is playing with the dyno. C6 Z06, different story.

I dont mean pre mod, i just mean a baseline before they did the a/f, timing etc...

Cause Dont they have to do one baseline run to see were your at and what your a/f is ?

or did you do a street tune and just dyno after ?

I didn't do a baseline. My dyno run was just to see numbers, they didn't tune the car at all. I have a w4m mail order tune.

Why would it be a different story? its the same motor...
I am a master at LS1 Edit, and 30 is no problem.
I just bought a V and really dont think there is a difference LS6/ vs ls1 vs C6 tuning wise.

here is the thing... Cat backs dont do **** for numbers, I wasted Days of dyno runs, changing one part, then doing a run. Mufflers were the worst. 1hp to a high flow.
The power seen on exhaust happens when a) you remove the CATS b) headers. Period.
Nothing else is worth the money and can be tuned around it. x pipes, larger pipe, mufflers. All yield Nada. at that point, its ALL about sound.

Real power adders 7K or 2K? there are all kinds of tricks, ported throttle, ported intake, 10rwhp tuned in, crank balancer is a decent power adder.
Port the stock heads if you are up for it.
Remove COT (cat over heat protection) - LS1Edit
Remove all the torque management
change AC throttle to like 75% from 100.
Change 91oct tables to 89.. same numbers of MAF tables.

It probably does seem there is nothing in between from headers to a blower, but there is. Labour if you do it yourself...
Just a cam can do wonders. I tuned in over 50RWHP on a G5X-3 cam.. LSA 112, Stock heads, 389RWHP and massive power under the curve, cause that is what is MORE important. mind you, that is some lumpiness Im not sure I would want on a CTS-V.

Just picked up a V... and am super excited to start...
