Default removing the hydraulic line

ok i have taken my trans out at least 12 times and now the plastic piece that you remove the hydraulic line from the slave looks like hamburger( i use a couple small flat heads to push it in). i went to the dealership and they cant seem to get that piece without the whole line. A. is there any special tool to remove this, and B where the heck can i find one? Does it have a special name?

GM Hydraulic Clutch Line Disconnect Tool
Kent Moore J 36221

You've got to be kidding $30.95 for those.
I got one for free when I bought a clutch one time.
It's just thin bendable metal.

Rip the plastic ring out and buy the bushing talked about in this post. They work perfect to release the line. No screwdrivers or tool needed. Just push the bushing in along with the quick disconnect and pull it out.

Glad to help when I can ... looks like Dal1as has your answer on the plastic bushing.

That's good info, a little part like that would be difficult to find otherwise.
