Have you checked in the corvette section? I'm sure those guys would know.

You'd put the c6z frc's on for the intimidation factor?

My guess is because they look better than the stock cover, they release heat from the engine, and because he found a good deal on them.

They look 10x better than the stock trashcan lid.

Valid point. But u can always run frc less if heat is an issue. I just wouldn't want one that says 7.0l on it when I don't have one IMO

Touche. I forgot that the C6Z's had 7.0 liters...Mine are 5.7's from the earlier C56 so I didn't associate.
I guess 7.0 liter covers on a 5.7 or 6.0 engine would be like V emblems on a standard CTS.

im not someone who tries to make people believe i have something i really dont. this guy wants $50 for them so totally forgetting they have the "LS7" emblem on them i came on here to see if they'll fit. ive never seen these in person so maybe its possible to paint over the LS7. i guess i can always get them anyway in hopes of one day having an LS7...or someone could find me the right ones for a good deal?

If you're worried about saying ls7 you can fill them with bondo and sand smooth.

Why dont you just get the LS2 Vette FRC (any 2005-2007 Vette)? It already says LS2. Not sure why you want LS7 FRC...unless you have a LS7 in your V.

Just trim them up and throw them on. Simple. This is the best pick of mine that I still have, sorry.

Oh, I misunderstood your post. I would pass on the deal. Look for a deal on LS2 FRC. You dont want to be "that guy" with LS7 FRCs on his LS2.

LS2 and LS7 covers are not the same, IIRC. The intake manifold cutouts are different.

You need some from a 2005-2007 Corvette or 2005-2006 GTO.
